Michelle Amos holds her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Louisville in fiber construction. She has shown in over 50 exhibitions and has been awarded the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft Artist Residency. Michelle has 18 years of experience teaching with a focus on community art and special populations. Michelle is an instructor from the Little Loomhouse, a 76 year old weaving and fiber arts education studio. The Little Loomhouse is located in several 141 year old historical cabins in South Louisville. The founder, Lou Tate, was a master weaver who believed in preserving and promoting weaving and its history.
