Director of woodcraft
Robert has been splitting his time as a studio furniture maker and a teacher of woodworking. His work seeks to add the studio furniture movement of the past 100 years. Robert has published articles in Woodcraft Magazine, Fine Woodworking, and Furniture & Cabinetmaking. In 2020, he (along with collaborator, Larissa Huff) was awarded the Wharton Esherick Prize for Excellence in Wood at the Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show. He seeks to challenge himself and his students to find empowerment and joy in the act of making.
