Not Sew Basic Sewing & Crochet Workshop

Please join the Madison County Public Library for a sewing and crochet workshop. This is intended for beginners. We will have experts available to help you learn how to do basic mending (sewing a rip, sewing on a button, etc.). We will also have fabric to create a cloth napkin. Please check social media in the event this program is cancelled due to weather.

Please note:

-We will have 6 sewing machines available on a first come first serve basis

-If you have a sewing machine at home, you are welcome to bring it. You must have all working parts and know how to thread your machine

-If you are bringing a piece of clothing to mend, please bring the item. If you need a button sewn, please bring the button. If you don’t have it, we will have some to choose from

-We will have some crochet hooks available, also on a first come first serve basis. If you have crochet hooks, please bring them.
