Introduction to Broom Making: Cobwebber Brooms with Dustin Cecil

Learn to craft useful and decorative cobwebber brooms.

Description: Participants will make a traditional cobweb broom. This lightweight, narrow broom is great for reaching all the places cobwebs can be found and even sweeping the ceiling. Not only functional, these brooms are also unique decorative items and make great gifts! Participants will learn the basic weaving techniques used to make a broom with natural broomcorn (sorghum).

Difficulty Level: Beginner, some hand and arm strength required.

Youth Participants: 12+, with accompanying adult registrant

Additional Information: All participants will make a 48” long broom, most have time to make two.
