Forge Decorative Leaves with Jeff Farmer

Craft metal leaves with Jeff Farmer in this fun, hands-on forging session.

Description: Learn basic blacksmithing skills while using a coal forge to heat metal to craft decorative leaves that can be used as key chains, pendants or ornaments. Participants will learn safety, temperature management, and how to control and shape hot metal.

Difficulty Level: Beginner

Youth Participants: 14+ with registered adult

Additional Information: For safety, participants must wear long pants and sturdy, closed-toe shoes (leather shoes preferred). Please bring safety glasses and hearing protection. Participants who do not meet these requirements will not be permitted to join the workshop. If a participant shows disregard for their personal safety or the safety of others, the instructor may ask them to leave.

Notes: Participants will take home several forged leaves.
