Cooking with Armando at The Log House

Are you looking to add some international flair to your cooking skills? Then join us on March 24th for our first “Around the World Recipes” cooking class at the Log House Craft Gallery! We’ll be starting in Mexico. You’ll learn how to make two delicious and easy-to-follow recipes.
First up is Sopes, also known as Picaditas, a Mexican dish that can be traced back to pre-Hispanic times. It has a corn base similar to a tortilla but is fried before adding all the toppings. Pinto beans will be the main ingredient, topped with cheese, cream, and lettuce.
Additionally, we will learn how to make Salsa Verde, a traditional salsa, meaning green salsa.
