Robbie Mueller
Robbie Mueller is a Kentucky-based mixed media artist who specializes in folk art. Robbie earned a degree from Transylvania University in Lexington. He retired after a 28 yr. teaching career in Oldham County to pursue a passion in wood working that evolved into a full-time career in art. Robbie considers himself a contemporary folk artist.
However, he continues his passion for teaching by offering folk art painting classes at his local Gallery 104 (LaGrange, KY), participating in the Kentuck Artist in School Program (in Tuscaloosa, AL), and volunteering with students in his home, Oldham County, school district.
Robbie is a juried member of the Kentucky Crafted Program and is a featured artist in Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsman 50th Anniversary Album. Kentucky Educational Television aired a segment (# 908) about Robbie and his folk art on Bluegrass & Backroads in January 2012.
