Michelle Amos
Michelle Amos is the Director of Programming & Education for the Little Loomhouse in Louisville, KY. The Little Loomhouse is a historic site and weaving colony whose founder, Lou Tate, graduated from Berea College in the 1920s. Amos has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Louisville in fiber construction and focuses most of her work on Community Art. She has been the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft Resident Artist and was the January 2020 Collider Artist in Residence for the South Central Regional Library in Louisville, KY.
Michelle is a veteran learnshop instructor. Her woven design was selected as the logo to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the learnshops in 2020.
