Jill Robertson
Jill Robertson is an Eastern Kentucky Artist, Berea College graduate, entrepreneur, self-proclaimed Renaissance woman and adventurer who embodies the motto “What can I try next?”
Jill served as an AmeriCorps TASK, VISTA and Community Coordinator working with the Appalachian Arts Alliance to develop a creative economy and provide arts education throughout Hazard, KY and the surrounding areas. Jill has experience working in multiple facets of the education and non-profit worlds and has participated in and organized numerous civic projects throughout Eastern Kentucky. Jill is a 2018 recipient of the Kentucky Foundation for Women Artist Enrichment Grant.
By being a visible female welder/artist in schools and throughout the community, she intends on educating youth and challenging existing schemas by normalizing welding as an art form practiced by women.
