Paint white flowers and blossoms without white paint??? Unheard of! Impossible? Well it is possible and intriguing. Learn some intro to drawing skills, watercolor techniques, brush handling, composition and value studies while painting white blossoms among dogwood, daisies and lilies!

This workshop focus is on teaching watercolor techniques and drawing skills to build the tool box of each participant. With the skills and techniques learned participants will work to their level of development and apply their new skills and techniques to the painting project being created.

• Location: Russel Acton Folk Center - 212 West Jefferson Street

• Date/Time: July 22nd from 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM

• Break: 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM (1.5 hours)

• Total Hours: 6 hours

• Age: 12 & Up (Youth 12 - 18 MUST bring a Youth Authorization Form, completed and signed by a parent or legal guardian, found at this Attendees Resources link.)

• Take Home: Four to six watercolor techniques, reference materials, student watercolors, good basic brushes, three 9” x 12” watercolor flower paintings.

• Notes: Bring a favorite paint brush if you have one!
