Watercolor Koi, Water and Ripples - July 30th from 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM - Price: $81
Workshop Instructor: Pat Banks

My first memorable Koi “encounter” was in a seven-hundred-year-old monastic garden in Japan. I have been captivated and intrigued ever since! Koi have been documented to live 200+ years. Their color and individual shapes cultivated for beauty and grace for generations. Are you inspired yet? Let’s paint! You will learn some intro to drawing skills, watercolor techniques, brush handling, composition and painting water ripples.

This workshop focus is on teaching watercolor techniques and drawing skills to build the tool box of each participant. With the skills and techniques learned participants will work to their level of development and apply their new skills and techniques to the painting project being created.
