Trident Maples are one of the most frequently used trees for bonsai. In this session, students will learn about the characteristics, care and development of this choice, seasonally deciduous, outdoor species.

• Location: Broadway Center Room 30 (Craft Room) - 204 North Broadway

• Date/Time: July 27th from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM

• Break: NA

• Total Hours: 3 hours

• Price: $115.00 (Includes all supplies, use of tools and handouts.)

• Age: 18 & Up

• Difficulty: Intermediate (Familiarity with horticulture basics and previous work with bonsai would be helpful but not required.)

• Class Size: 6 Max

• Take Home: One trident maple bonsai (approximately 10” - 15” high) in a 10” x 8” x 2” ceramic bonsai pot and resource handouts for follow up care and maintenance.

• Notes: Please wear comfortable gardening clothing. Bring bonsai tools if you have them and gloves if you desire.

• NOTE TO EDUCATORS: Educators attending this session will receive access to on-line cross-curricular resources, suggested classroom activities based on skills and concepts covered in session, and a certificate of participation for Professional Learning documentation.
