Workshop Instructor: Dr. Kyle Lee

This is one of two six-hour Educator Packages offered this year. The other is Reading, Writing, and Art: Integrating Literacy and the Arts. This learnshop package is intended for Kentucky educators, including teachers, teaching artists, administrators, future teachers, and education majors.

Join Dr. Kyle Lee for a three-hour session to explore the cross-curricular aspect of design within Problem Based Learning (PBL) using specific examples from several of the learnshops that will be presented from Sunday through Tuesday each week. Dr. Lee will also cover changes in the new Kentucky education standards. Price of $125 includes a three-hour session with Dr. Lee on Monday, July 15th OR Monday, July 22nd from 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM OR from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM, and your choice of a three-hour learnshop in music, creative writing, puppet theatre, or visual arts.

In order to help you decide which package date and time (session) is more suitable for your needs, we have provided a list of the learnshops available for each session. To provide the greatest selection possible, you may select a learnshop presented on the Sunday before or the Tuesday after each session. You may click on the learnshop titles in the lists below to learn more about each one, then use the back button to return to this page. (Caution - Do not register for the learnshops individually.) Once you have decided on the package session you wish to attend, please click on your selected date and time to add to cart and register. Register only for the specific package date/time (session). Once you have registered for the package, Judy Sizemore will contact you to select the learnshop that meets your own professional learning needs. Many of these learnshops are open to the general public so they may sell out quickly. Reminder - Please do not register for the individual learnshop that you would like as part of this package - only register for this package.
