Once you understand the structure of knitted socks you can make socks that fit perfectly, every foot, every time. In just one-half day you will learn all of the techniques required to make perfect fitting socks.

• Location: Fiber Frenzy LLC - 137 North Broadway

• Date/Time: July 12th, 19th OR 26th from 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM

• Age: 12 & Up (Youth 12 - 18 MUST bring a Youth Authorization Form, completed and signed by a parent or legal guardian, found at this Attendees Resources link.)

• Difficulty: Intermediate (Participants must be proficient in cast on, knit and purl stitches and decreases.)

• Class Size: 6 Max

• Take Home: Participants will take home a completed mini sock measuring approximately 3” long, a set of double point knitting needles, a pattern and a skein of Fair Isle washable wool yarn (or equivalent) to make a pair of socks for an adult.

• Notes: Participants must be proficient in knitting basics: cast on, knit and purl stitches and decreases. Prior experience with double pointed needles is helpful but not required.

• NOTE TO EDUCATORS: Educators attending this session will receive access to on-line cross-curricular resources, suggested classroom activities based on skills and concepts covered in session, and a certificate of participation for Professional Learning documentation.
