Mixed Media with Monotype Printmaking - Begins July 21st from 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM - Price: $167

Day 1 - Participants will explore the monotype printmaking process including creating designs, inking plates, creating image and transferring image to paper with pressure.

Day 2 - Participants will experiment with layering of elements onto printmaking pieces from Day 1, creating wonderfully unique pieces.

• Location: Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea (Basement) - 200 Artisan Way

• Date/Time: July 21st AND July 22nd from 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM

• Break: 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM (1.5 hours)

• Total Hours: 12 hours

• Price: $167.00 (Includes all materials and use of supplies.) (See Notes below - Bring items to press into wet inks and items to adhere onto print for collage.)

• Age: 18 & Up

• Difficulty: All Levels

• Class Size: 12 Max

• Take Home: All prints and mixed media pieces created during class, usually three or more.

• Notes: This is a two day workshop. Please bring items that may make interesting designs when pressed into wet inks as well as items to adhere onto print for the collage process. This process can be messy, please bring an apron or wear clothing you don’t mind getting ink on.
