Meditative and Creative Art of Zentangle®
Meditative and Creative Art of Zentangle® - July 20th from 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM - Price: $100
Workshop Instructor: Katia Parrett

Zentangle® method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns called tangles. It is a proven method to promote mindfulness and fosters self-esteem, focus, relaxation, creativity, and relief from stress, anxiety and depression as well as some pain. Some characteristics of Zentangle®: intuitive, abstract, fun and relaxing, unexpected results and ceremonial.

This in-depth program covers the history, philosophy, theory, basic tools, and techniques of the Zentangle® method, leaving you confident in your unique and creative expression and with a clear understanding that, “Anything is possible…one stroke at a time.” Everyone will end up with different pieces of art based on their unique spin on the tangle patterns, creating abstract art using organic and geometric tangles, a variety of pen and paper colors, techniques and tangle enhancers. We will display them in a mosaic format so we can appreciate them as a group and enjoy together! No art experience is necessary.
