This introductory class will teach you everything you need to know to get started painting with watercolors. The class will cover tools and materials, painting techniques and how to use a limited palette of paints to confidently mix any color you might need.

• Location: This location has changed and will now be located at the former Mitchell Tolle Building - 633 Chestnut Street (Previously listed as Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea)

• Date/Time: July 18th from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM PM

• Total Hours: 3 hours

• Price: $58.00 (Includes all materials, use of tools and handouts.)

• Age: 16 & Up (Participants under 18 MUST be accompanied by a participating parent, legal guardian or authorized adult. All participants under 18 MUST bring a Youth Authorization Form, completed and signed by a parent or legal guardian, found at this Attendees Resources link.)

• Difficulty: Beginner

• Class Size: 12 Max

• Take Home: Six 5” x 7” sheets of watercolor paper with experiments and color studies, color mixing chart and samples of watercolor paints.

• NOTE TO EDUCATORS: Educators attending this session will receive access to on-line cross-curricular resources, suggested classroom activities based on skills and concepts covered in session, and a certificate of participation for Professional Learning documentation.
