Choose your colors and then use traditional glass blowing techniques to create this wall pocket, perfect for flowers, plants and succulents.

• Location: Weston Glass Studio - 217 Adams Street (Note: Expect possible hot work conditions. Studio is not handicap accessible.)

• Date/Time: July 16th from 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM

• Break: NA

• Total Hours: 3 hours

• Price: $85.00 (Includes all materials and use of equipment.) (See Notes Below - Additional $8 shipping fee can be paid at workshop if needed.)

• Age: 16 & Up (Participants under 18 MUST be accompanied by one parent, legal guardian or authorized adult through the duration of the workshop. If the parent, legal guardian or authorized adult wishes to participate, they must also register for the workshop. All participants under 18 MUST bring a Youth Authorization Form, completed and signed by a parent or legal guardian, found at this Attendees Resources link.)

• Difficulty: Beginner (Prior glass blowing experience would be helpful but is not required.)

• Class Size: 5 Max

• Take Home: One hand blown glass wall pocket and a second smaller item. (See Notes Below - items will need to anneal over night in the kiln.)

• Notes: Required For Safety - No exceptions: Please dress in a cotton shirt and wear long pants, no tights and no synthetics. Long sleeves are recommended. Wear sturdy closed toe shoes - sneakers are okay, not ballet flats. Participants not meeting these requirements will not be allowed to join the workshop. If you are buying this workshop registration for someone else, please make sure they are aware of the requirements.

Items will need to anneal overnight in the kiln. Participants can pick their items up the next day or arrange shipment for $8 per participant, payable on site.

Only registered participants and one parent, legal guardian or authorized adult of youth attending may be in the studio during the workshop.

Expect possible hot work conditions. Studio is NOT handicap accessible.

• NOTE TO EDUCATORS: Educators attending this session will receive access to on-line cross-curricular resources, suggested classroom activities based on skills and concepts covered in session, and a certificate of participation for Professional Learning documentation.
