Felted Vessels
Felted Vessels - July 19th from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM - Price: $69
Workshop Instructor: Vallorie Henderson

In this workshop, participants will make three solid wool vessels using inflatable plastic ball forms as well as nylon fabric resists. Two vessels will be created by felting over one 6” ball form, cutting the sphere in half to create two hemisphere vessels. The third vessel is rectangular with low sides, felted by using a flat nylon resist surrounded by wool. All three vessels will be designed and finished in class, but will be taken home wet to dry within a 24 hour period at participant’s residences.

Please note - The felting process doesn’t happen immediately. Participants will need to put focused effort and energy into the felting process which requires dexterity in both hands and persistence.
