In this class you will learn all about natural dyeing. You will learn how to make a dye from plants and will learn about which plants give colors. You will learn the process of using mordants and how to set your dyes.

• Price: $52.00 (Includes two skeins of dk or fingering weight yarn, use of dyes, use of mordants and use of equipment.)

• Age: 13 & Up (Participants under 18 MUST be accompanied by one parent, legal guardian or authorized adult through the duration of the workshop. If the parent, legal guardian or authorized adult wishes to participate, they must also register for the workshop. • Class Size: 12 Max

• Take Home: Two skeins of beautifully hand dyed yarn.

• Notes: This workshop takes place outside under a tent; dress for potentially very warm and / or wet weather. Please wear comfortable clothes that may get wet or stained in this workshop. Protective gloves are provided.
