Learn to draw and paint seasonal, botanical words and alphabets using bits and pieces of plants. Each student will design and create their own word or phrase. You’ll see twigs and wildflowers in a whole new way!

• Location: Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea (Private Dining Room) - 200 Artisan Way

• Date/Time: July 17th from 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM

• Break: 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM (1.5 hours)

• Total Hours: 6 hours

• Price: $92.00 (Includes all materials, use of supplies and handouts.) (See Notes Below - You are welcome to bring pencils, pens or paints to use as well as items to incorporate into your design.)

• Age: 16 & Up (Participants under 18 MUST be accompanied by a participating parent, legal guardian or authorized adult. All participants under 18 MUST bring a Youth Authorization Form, completed and signed by a parent or legal guardian, found at this Attendees Resources link.)

• Difficulty: Beginner

• Class Size: 12 Max

• Take Home: Four 5” x 7” pencil sketches and completed paintings, watercolor paint samples, brush and handouts.

• Notes: All botanicals, drawing and painting supplies are provided but please feel free to bring any specimens or art materials from home you might like to use. We will go for a brief nature walk, so please wear walking shoes.

• NOTE TO EDUCATORS: Educators attending this session will receive access to on-line cross-curricular resources, suggested classroom activities based on skills and concepts covered in session, and a certificate of participation for Professional Learning documentation.
