In this introductory class, Laura Poulette will share with students the methods she has developed to draw botanical specimens. Using freshly collected native plants we will explore how to draw plant studies.

• Price: $46.00 (Includes supplies, use of materials and handouts.) (See Notes Below - You are welcome to bring drawing materials to use as well as botanical specimens.)

• Age: 16 & Up (Participants under 18 MUST be accompanied by a participating parent, legal guardian or authorized adult. All participants under 18 MUST bring a Youth Authorization Form, completed and signed by a parent or legal guardian, found at this Attendees Resources link.)

• Difficulty: Beginner

• Class Size: 12 Max

• Take Home: Ten 5” x 7” sheets of drawing paper with sketches and completed drawings as well as handouts.

• Notes: Drawing materials are provided, but if you have favorites you’d like to use, please bring them. If you have any botanical specimens you’d like to work on, feel free to bring them as well.

• NOTE TO EDUCATORS: Educators attending this session will receive access to on-line cross-curricular resources, suggested classroom activities based on skills and concepts covered in session, and a certificate of participation for Professional Learning documentation.
