Chinese elm trees are an easy care versatile material for bonsai. Students will be provided with a brief history and introduction to bonsai styling. Information on horticultural care will also be provided. The bulk of the workshop time will be devoted to shaping, pruning and establishing the tree in a bonsai container to take home.

• Location: Broadway Center Room 30 (Craft Room) - 204 North Broadway

• Date/Time: July 21st from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM

• Total Hours: 3 hours

• Price: $109.00 (Includes all supplies, use of tools and handouts.)

• Age: 18 & Up

• Difficulty: Intermediate (Some understanding of plant cultivation will be helpful.)

• Class Size: 6 Max

• Take Home: One medium size (15” - 18”) Chinese elm bonsai tree in a 10” x 8” x 3” ceramic bonsai pot and resource handouts for follow up care and maintenance.

• Notes: Please wear comfortable gardening clothing. Bring bonsai tools if you have them and gloves if you desire.
