Create your own blown glass ornament or mini vase. Participants will sit at the glass blowers bench, shape and color glass hot from the furnace using traditional glass working techniques.

• Location: Weston Glass Studio - 217 Adams Street (Note: Expect possible hot work conditions. Studio is not handicap accessible.)

• Date/Time: July 17th OR July 24th from 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM

• Break: NA

• Total Hours: 3 hours

• Price: $52.00 (Includes all materials and use of equipment.) (See Notes Below - Additional $8 shipping fee can be paid at workshop if needed.)

• Age: 13 - 16 (All participants MUST be accompanied by one parent, legal guardian or authorized adult through the duration of the workshop. All participants MUST bring a Youth Authorization Form, completed and signed by a parent or legal guardian, found at this Attendees Resources link.)

• Difficulty: Beginner

• Class Size: 5 Max

• Take Home: At least one hand blown glass ornament or mini vase and a second item. (See Notes Below - items will need to anneal over night in the kiln.)

• Notes: Required For Safety - No exceptions: Please dress in a cotton shirt and wear long pants, no tights and no synthetics. Long sleeves are recommended. Wear sturdy closed toe shoes - sneakers are okay, not ballet flats. Participants not meeting these requirements will not be allowed to join the workshop. If you are buying this workshop registration for someone else, please make sure they are aware of the requirements.

Items will need to anneal overnight in the kiln. Participants can pick their items up the next day or arrange shipment for $8 per participant, payable on site.

Only registered participants and one parent, legal guardian or authorized adult of youth attending may be in the studio during the workshop.

Expect possible hot work conditions. Studio is NOT handicap accessible.
