DESCRIPTION:Come to the Berea College Forestry Outreach Center for a demonstration on ways to safely view the April 8 solar eclipse. Astronomer Jeff Hutton will demonstrate various ways to safely watch as the moon covers the sun from 1:49PM to 4:25PM on April 8\, 2024. At 3:09PM\, the sun will be 95% covered over by the moon. Jeff has built a small number safe solar viewers which will be given away to some lucky participants. Come early an get one for yourself!
