DESCRIPTION:Astronomy Star Party!\nCome hear a short presentation by Jeff Hutton\, called “Alignments that have Nothing to do with Your Car”. Everything in space is in motion. Sometimes objects (like the Moon and other planets) pass in front of more distant objects. Next April’s eclipse of the sun is an example. After dark\, if skies are clear\, large telescopes will be on hand to view the Moon\, Saturn and even more distant stars and other Milky Way objects. As an added bonus\, witness the light from the bright star named Antares (sometimes called “anti-Mars) become blocked by the night side of the Moon at 10:42.
