DESCRIPTION:Come join us each Saturday from 10:00-11:00 am at the Forestry Outreach Center for Forest Meditations!\nThis is an opportunity to connect with ourselves\, each other\, and the world. All are welcome! We will meet in the “Nature’s Classroom” gazebo. Bring your mats or cushions if you like. Chairs will be provided.\nWe will start with a short introduction to the sit\, meditate for about 20 minutes\, and then invite you to reflect on your experience in any way you wish. It could be through writing\, drawing or quiet contemplation. We would then welcome anyone who would like to share from their experience. We would love to have you linger afterwards for coffee and conversation.\nThis event is hosted by Berea College Forestry Outreach Center\, Wendy Zagray Warren\, Jane Mecham and Pat Gailey.

DESCRIPTION:Help us get closer to identifying all of the amazing wildlife people have observed in the forest! \nBring a computer (preferrable) or your smartphone to join in on our I.D.-a-thon–a time dedicated to classifying iNaturalist observations to get them closer to species identification! No experience is needed. \nWe’ll go over tips and tricks to I.D.s on iNat that you can use beyond this event and beyond local observations! \nYou can drop in/out as you’d like. Light refreshments will be provided.
