Neil Di Teresa, a New Yorker by birth, is a Kentuckian by choice. As Professor Emeritus of Painting and Drawing at Berea College (Seabury Foundation Award for Excellence in Teaching; Phi Kappa Phi Professor). He has a Bachelor Degree from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY (Dean’s Scholarship) and a Masters in Fine Arts from the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque (University Graduate Fellowship). He continued study and research as visiting Senior Professor at Darwin College, University of Kent, Canterbury, England, and has established post-graduate painting studios in Florence, Italy, Canterbury, England, and Albuquerque, New Mexico. His art remains in public and private collections here and abroad. He maintains a home studio in Berea, Kentucky (Only Art 2), where he continues to paint and draw, also teaching small groups of private students.
