Laura Poulette is a full time professional artist who paints botanical watercolors. She graduated from Berea College in 2000, earning a BA with an emphasis on Fiber Art. She lives with her family on a homestead they are building themselves in the hills outside of Berea. She is a juried member of the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen, The Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea, and Kentucky Crafted, the premier state art program of the Kentucky Arts Council. She received the best in show award in 2017 at Kentucky Crafted: the Market. She has taught and demonstrated at events hosted by the Kentucky Native Plant Society, the Kentucky Arts Council, Artists Thrive and Berea College.
